Federico Solmi’s installation Ideal City sarcastically analyses the scenery of the contemporary metropolis, examining the absurdity and contradiction that has contributed towards transforming our cities into more undesirable places to live. The installation was composed of mixed media sculptures, paintings, and two video animations, measuring approximately 25 x 12ft. in total.
